Drake Celebrates Reportedly Breaking Spotify Record by Comparing Himself to Lebron James

Drake found two more causes for celebration on Tuesday. Chart Data reported that "God's Plan"—which was released on Friday night alongside "Diplomatic Immunity"—earned 4,326,679 U.S. Spotify streams on Monday, reportedly a single-day record. Although Spotify hasn't publicly confirmed the breaking of the record (Complex has reached out for comment), Drake was eager to make a self-congratulatory Instagram post.

Tuesday also happened to be the same day that his buddy LeBron James became just the seventh player in history to score 30,000 career points in the NBA—so he sent some props his way, too. "Congrats King. Samesies," he quipped.

Drake delivered another bit of comedic praise to the King with a video through UNINTERRUPTED. He calls LeBron "one of the most inspirational people in [his] life," claims he always tries to get in the studio whenever the future Hall of Famer makes a laudable accomplishment, and offers him a bottle of wine to celebrate. But, doh! The 6 God drops and breaks the bottle at the video's end.

Circling back to music, Drake isn't a stranger to breaking streaming records. Last year's More Life earned 384.8 million streams of its songs in its first week out, breaking a record previously set by Drake's own Views
